Amanda Sweet, affectionately known as the Creative Fairy Godmother, is an immersive and experiential global speaker, community leader, event curator, and thrifting junkie. Amanda Sweet’s goal is to help people make friends, get fly, and save the world through sustainable community events.
As the Founder of “The ReVamp”, Sweet is on a mission to teach people how local impact create global impact, she's able to teach and practice sustainable fashion that impacts her peers and Homeless and Domestic Violence shelters in Detroit. She is the Host of The Let's Glow Show, where she gets to share and create conversations with creative entrepreneurs to help the views shine!
Amanda is currently the Community Director with Bamboo Royal Oak and gets to work with and develop professionals, small business owners, and entrepreneurs in their workflow and growing their networks, through events and consulting. Sweet sits on the Advisory Council for the Michigan Diversity Council, where she gets to learn and support the Michigan ecosystem through DEI best practices. Amanda Sweet is the Inaugural and Former crowned Miss Voluptuous America, on a Global Pageant Stage celebrating and empowering plus-size, and all size, women and girls all over the world. Through her platform, Party with Purpose, Amanda Sweet lives and breathes the mission of bringing joy to the world and leaving it better than she found it.
Hi, I’m Mariah! I’m the founder of Belle Âme Creative Agency and have the honor of serving as The ReVamp’s Digital Marketing Director since 2018. Since The ReVamp’s beginnings in Texas, I’ve been passionate about helping it grow into a space where sustainability, fashion, and community intersect. With a background in Merchandising and Marketing, I’ve studied sustainability in depth, specifically within the fashion industry.
At Belle Âme Creative Agency, I focus on helping small, local businesses thrive through digital brand development, a mission that mirrors the heart of The ReVamp’s work.
I’m passionate about using creative storytelling and digital strategy to connect people, foster sustainable practices, and inspire a community of changemakers.
Lebree Jones is the Entertainment Manager for The ReVamp. Lebree coordinates music performances, and DJs the events. He's an engineer by day, a multidisciplinary artist by night, and loves the diverse crowds The ReVamp brings out.
Hi, I’m Breona Clawson! I am the founder of the Women Empowerment Circle Group, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting women through monthly meetups that provide self-care tools to support mental health and well-being. My passion for creating supportive and empowering spaces aligns seamlessly with my role at The ReVamp Detroit, where I’ve been proud to contribute since 2022. Together, we curate events that blend sustainability with fashion, art, and music, fostering creativity and connection. Whether I’m organizing clothing swaps, supporting local nonprofits, or leading empowering conversations, my mission remains the same: to inspire growth, build community, and make a positive impact.
Ang Adamiak is the Executive Director of Arts & Scraps and the Volunteer Coordinator for The ReVamp. She is passionate about the Detroit community, environmentalism, creativity and education equity. Ang has worked with children and volunteers for over 20 years. The ReVamp (and Ang!) is passionate about creating great volunteer experiences. Ang helps coordinate our volunteer leaders and individuals to help create a seamless experience. Ang loves fashion and creative solutions to helping our planet, but is most excited by the community we create when we come together to make a difference!
Ang's work at Arts & Scraps is in wonderful alignment with The ReVamp's values. The two organizations have been partnering since 2023, though an alteration station at the swap. Ang's involvement has only grown as the community connection has grown! We love to see it! The ReVamp loves to help our volunteers grow and take on new skills.
The eldest, raised in a single-parent home in the small town of Muskegon, MI, MaNazah Chandler effortlessly graduated Cum Laude from Muskegon High School (MHS) in June 2010. She was the first of her generation to finish college; graduating in May 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts (BFA) from WSU at 22. She’s also a 3-Year AmeriCorps Alum who is a true Servant Leader for the community.
MaNazah provided Voiceover Narration for a documentary titled, “My Girl Story”, which was selected for three 2019 Film Festivals in Detroit: I See You Awards, Detroit Women of Color Film Festival, and Trinity International Film Festival (TIFF). She recently did some voiceover placements for the Bruce Willis film, "A Day to Die", which premiered in theatres in March 2022. In addition to, "Call Her King" and "Black Heat" in 2023. She was also an actress in the stage play “The Vagina Monologues” in March 2025.
Ms. MaNazah is a multifaceted creative who serves as a Brand Ambassador and Co-Volunteer Coordinator for The ReVamp Detroit Clothing Swap Festival. She also works as a Daily Substitute Teacher for University Prep Schools as well as a Suite Attendant at Ford Field.
