The purpose of Destined for Greatness is to empower and motivate at-risk young ladies ages 11 to 21. Our mission is to show these youth that no matter what their downfalls have been, there is always a way to rise up above the negatives. The DFG Mentoring Program provides tools to help young ladies truly become Destined for Greatness! We educate, encourage, and empower young ladies to do things, which once may have seemed impossible to achieve. The goal is to build strong leaders and future professionals. We must stop the streets and crime from taking our future generations and turning them into mere statistics. Our topics include, but are not limited to: hygiene, self-esteem, education, and job readiness.

Grace Centers of Hope is a non-profit, Christian organization committed to positively changing the lives of the unwanted, addicted, and homeless through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, personal accountability, life skills education, and work-related programs.

The thrift stores play a crucial role in supporting their mission.  The revenue generated from these stores helps fund the life saving programs at Grace Centers of Hope.

The mission of Haven Homes of Detroit is to empower women to heal from the trauma of trafficking and exploitation by providing safe housing, creating supportive communities, removing barriers to resources, while equipping them with the skills they need to reclaim their lives and create a brighter future.

Haven Homes of Detroit is a grassroots organization in Detroit that recognizes that for our program to thrive it needs to rely on the help of other strong organizations too. We are only as strong as the community we engage with.

1Founded in 1961 by 20 refugee and immigrant women, United Community Family Services (UCFS) is dedicated to providing wrap-around social services that guide, support, and empower individuals to achieve self-sufficiency with dignity and hope. The majority of the 12,000+ individuals we serve annually are refugees and immigrants who are on the journey of rebuilding their lives in Southeast Michigan. 

At UCFS, 95% of our team were once immigrants, refugees, or asylees themselves, and the majority are fluent in the most common languages spoken by the community members we serve. Having navigated many of the same challenges as our clients, UCFS staff members are uniquely qualified to provide linguistically accessible services to refugees and asylees with unmatched cultural competence, empathy, and understanding.
